Mission Lamar School's mission is to educate each individual by providing a challenging and purposeful college preparatory curriculum in a safe, respectful, Christian environment.
As an independent school, Lamar School serves families throughout East Mississippi and West Alabama. We emphasize university/college preparation in a Christian environment, and we are dedicated to assisting you, the parent, in teaching the whole child — academically, spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
We are accredited through MPSA (Mississippi Private School Association) and SACS CASI (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement).
