Head of School

On behalf of Lamar School, I want to extend a warm welcome to you. As you browse our website, we hope you will gain a sense of what makes Lamar School a unique place. For many years, teachers and coaches have invested in the lives of our children. They have provided students with rigorous and robust programs in academics, the arts, and athletics. Lamar School has been a place to build friendships, to explore budding interests, and to take risks. Quite simply, Lamar School is different.

Inside and out, Lamar School is developing talents for the greater good. Inside the classrooms, foundations for the future are being built as early as pre-kindergarten. A love of learning and a willingness to embrace challenges are cultivated throughout a student’s academic career at Lamar School.

Outside the classroom, students are encouraged to discover themselves through the arts, athletics, and community involvement. Through class plays and spring productions, athletic games and championships, our students have many opportunities to showcase their abilities and foster the attributes of determination and perseverance.

I hope you take the opportunity to visit the campus of Lamar School. You will experience the unique atmosphere that abounds here, one of a rich heritage and promising future. You will see students who have chosen to embrace the extraordinary opportunities that we offer. You will find learners who are poised to embrace the challenges that await them upon graduation from Lamar School. You will see the difference.

We are proud of our Raiders!
