Inspiring a Love of Learning

Kindergarten - Grade 5

The elementary curriculum inspires a love of learning through reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, and science. Small classes allow teachers to foster an environment in which curious and creative learners emerge.

The Elementary Difference allows students to:

  • Develop critical thinking and social skills under the guidance of creative teachers with high academic standards.

  • Enrich curriculum with art, library, music, and Spanish.

  • Be inspired in our STEM Lab, a hands-on environment where students work collaboratively to experiment and problem solve.

  • Cultivate talents on stage during grade-level plays and school-wide productions.

  • Enjoy P.E. and recess by moving and playing each day.

There are many things we loved about Lamar School. From the academic excellence to the individual attention to the sense of community. Lamar School was home for us until we relocated out of state for a job opportunity. We enrolled the kids in a well known independent school and were curious how they would transition. We can't say enough good things about how well prepared they were. They were above target academically and they felt confident and empowered making the move much easier for our family. We will always cherish our time at Lamar School and the opportunities for our children to grow in a Christian environment.
