Guidance & College Counseling
While following the mission of Lamar School, we aim to assist students with their academic and social/emotional development as well as support our upperclassmen as they navigate the college application process.
Our goal is to educate the whole child as we prepare students to transition to the next stage of life.
The counselor is available for collaboration and consultation with teachers, parents, and students to address the academic, social, and emotional concerns of our students.
We assist students and families during the college application process including a summer College 101 workshop for juniors and seniors, annual on-campus College Fairs, and continued support throughout the high school years. Our goal is for our students to be competitive in both admissions and scholarship opportunities.
