The high school years serve as the capstone experience at Lamar School. Our students are conditioned for success through exposure to a rigorous curriculum taught by teachers who recognize and encourage critical thought, hands-on investigation, and independence.

 

Preparing for Success

Grades 9-12

The High School Difference allows students to:

  • Engage in an intentional college preparatory curriculum with advanced placement and dual college credit class offerings as well as electives in the arts and humanities.

  • Choose from multiple enrichment opportunities in a variety of extra-curricular activities including sports, visual and performing arts, competitive academic teams, and service organizations.

  • Expand horizons through travel opportunities throughout our country and abroad.

Kim Cruise

Mrs. Cruise serves in the Upper School Principal at Lamar School, bringing three decades of experience in MAIS education to her role. Throughout her career, she has established a reputation for her unwavering commitment to academic rigor, student mentorship, and Christian education. Having previously taught at Lamar, she possesses a deep understanding of the school's culture and a strong alignment with its mission.
