Lamar School's Pre-Kindergarten curriculum gives children a nurturing beginning. Preschoolers quickly become a part of the Lamar School family, where we strive to instill a life-long foundation for learning. Preschoolers are able to explore the world around them, learning through hands-on centers and engaging in productive play.

Building Foundations

The Pre-K Difference allows students to:

  • Cultivate social, emotional and school-readiness skills.

  • Explore math, science, and technology with hands-on activities and field trips.

  • Learn teamwork and build gross motor skills in P.E.

  • Develop creativity through art, music, and Spanish.

While Honeycutt is an alumna of Lamar School and her family is originally from Meridian, she spent most of her childhood living all across the country, never attending the same school for more than three years.
