This year Lamar School has started our very own buddy system by pairing some of our youngest students with our oldest ones.  

Our “Big Raider, Little Raider” program has brought together seniors and first graders by providing opportunities for fun and companionship all year long.  We kicked off the year with our “Meet and Greet Popsicle Party” and then met up to show our Raider spirit together at a pep rally.  There are plans for holiday gatherings, lots of games, and the chance for our first graders to practice their reading and math facts with their buddies. 

We hope that these big and little Raiders will develop friendships to last a lifetime!
